Join Keep Blount Beautiful for the annual Townsend Community Cleanup! Volunteers will meet at the Townsend Visitors Center to gather supplies and then clean up various areas of Townsend. All litter supplies will be provided. Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and clothes that can get dirty. After instruction, volunteers will drive to designated areas of Townsend to clean up. The Blount County Sheriff’s Office Litter Crew will provide traffic control where needed.
Volunteers are encouraged to register for this event to receive reminders and updates.
