Small Business Recycling Bin Program
Keep Blount Beautiful’s NEW Small Business Recycling Bin Program will provide small businesses in Blount County with a durable 18 gallon Rubbermaid recycling bin and laminated signage for recycling collection. Businesses can either collect single stream recycling or participate in a Terracycle recycling program (Colgate Oral Care Recycling Program and Eva NYC Hair Tools Recycling Program only).
How does the Small Business Recycling Bin Program work?
Small businesses should fill out the ‘Request a Bin’ form below to request a bin.
If selected, Keep Blount Beautiful will schedule a time to drop off your bin and conduct a brief recycling orientation for your employees (20 minutes)
Collect recycling! Place your bin in an appropriate area in your business for recycling collection.
Once your bin is full, it can be taken to a recycling center. After each drop off, an employee is required to report to Keep Blount Beautiful using the ‘Report Your Recycling’ form below.

Collect Your Recycling
The following items may be collected in your recycling bin. If you are using the bin to collect for Terracycle, click here.
Mixed paper- Office paper, junk mail, paper bags, newspaper, magazines, aseptic cartons, paperboard, cardboard
Metal cans- Aluminum and steel cans
Plastic #1 and #2- Most bottles and jugs, some plastic cups and containers/packaging
Recycling can be dropped off at the Blount County Recycling Center, City of Maryville Recycling Centers (City of Maryville only), or placed in your City of Alcoa curbside bin if applicable.
