Join Keep Blount Beautiful on Saturday, May 23rd at the Townsend Visitors Center for a community cleanup of Townsend from 9AM-12PM. This cleanup is one of our events in celebration of the Great American Cleanup, an initiative that encourages residents to take action to improve and beautify their community.

Volunteers will meet at the Townsend Visitors Center and then make their way through Townsend, picking up litter they see along the way. The cleanup will take place from 9AM to 11:30AM and lunch will be provided at 11:30AM after the cleanup.

This event is open to everyone so bring your family, friends, and neighbors and join us in the celebration! Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Keep Blount Beautiful will provide litter pickers, gloves, safety vests, and trash bags for all the participants.
