Volunteers for this event need to SIGN UP in order to participate. The sign up is FULL.

Join Keep Blount Beautiful, Little River Watershed Association, City of Alcoa, and Blount County Soil Conservation District for a cleanup of Pistol Creek. Litter pickup supplies will be provided including trash bags, gloves, and litter pickers. Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants and shoes that can get wet. Volunteers should bring a mask and gloves if they have them.

COVID-19 note: There will be two cleanup time slots, 9-11 AM and 12-2 PM, and each time slot will allow for six people. It is preferred that those signing up are persons already in contact with one another, i.e. families or workplace colleagues, but it is not absolutely necessary. The meeting location will be given to volunteers when they sign up with their chosen time slot. Volunteers should wear a mask and bring their own gloves if they have them.
