Join Save Our Smokies, Inc. as they celebrate Earth Day with the inaugural Spring Clean event in the Great Smoky Mountains. Their goal is to remove at least 5,000 pounds of litter and as much graffiti as possible for the day.

Tennessee volunteers should meet at GSM Institute at Tremont at 8 AM to gather supplies and instruction. Teams of volunteers will then disperse to different areas of the park. Around 2:30 PM, volunteers will head back to Tremont for food, beer, and live music.

Volunteers should register for this event and type “Keep Blount Beautiful” under Team Name.
