Litter Prevention
At Keep Blount Beautiful, we know how damaging litter can be to our environment, safety, community pride, and economy- and it’s not nice to look at! We aim to bring awareness to the litter problem in Blount County through litter prevention and eradication efforts.
Waste REduction
Keep Blount Beautiful encourages reducing, reusing, and recycling as a way to limit the waste that enters the landfill. We provide events and resources to help our residents properly dispose of many items, including recycling and household hazardous waste. To learn more, visit the Resources tab.
Beautification
Keep Blount Beautiful performs beautification projects with the help of grants, partnering organizations, and volunteers. These projects include tree plantings and invasive plant removals.
Education
Keep Blount Beautiful provides complimentary education programs to Blount County schools, camps, clubs, businesses, and other community groups. Education programs include field trips and activities in the classroom.
