Blount County residents have several options for trash pickup, including services provided by the cities of Alcoa and Maryville, the county landfill, and a variety of private haulers.

City of Alcoa

Trash pickup is provided by City of Alcoa Sanitation and Recycling. Trash pickup includes brush and bulky waste pickup at certain weeks of the month. The City of Alcoa also offers curbside recycling pickup.

Trash pickup is provided by City of Maryville Sanitation. Trash pickup also includes junk and brush collection once a month.

Alcoa/Maryville/Blount County Landfill

The landfill offers a garbage drop-off bin for all Blount County residents who do not wish to use curbside pickup or have excess household garbage to dispose of.
